The AI-native law firm for debt recovery and enforcement
Send us an unpaid invoice or a court judgment. We work out what you are owed, a solicitor chooses the route, and we follow it through until you are paid.
Seven layers, bound into one bundle: from the models to the solicitor who signs.
Invoices and judgments together: what's owed, what's recovered and the next step for each.
Our letters cost nothing. Court steps are fixed fees, most of them set at the costs the court adds to what the debtor owes. No commission, no success fee.
If the officer recovers nothing, they charge you an abortive fee of £79 + VAT. A business debtor also owes you statutory interest at 8% over base rate and fixed compensation of £70.00, which we claim for you. Court fees and the fixed costs the rules allow are added to what the debtor owes; you get them back only when the debtor pays or enforcement collects. On the small claims track the court does not award legal costs beyond those fixed sums, so our fee for a defended hearing is not added. If the debtor never pays, you lose the court fees and our fees for the steps taken, which is why the free debtor check comes first. We take no commission from you or from enforcement agents.
Marshal fees are shown before VAT at 20%; totals include it. VAT-registered businesses can usually reclaim it. Court fees are set by HMCTS and carry no VAT. Defended claims are priced separately; see the full price list.
Software prepares the work and fixed rules calculate the amounts. Every court step is approved, and every court form signed, by a solicitor regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

Marshal is being set up as a law firm. Software prepares the work; a solicitor approves every court step and signs every court form. This prototype uses fictitious matters and provides no legal services.
Yes. Send us the unpaid invoice. We check the debtor first; if we can act, we write to them, issue the claim if they do not pay, obtain judgment and enforce it, for debts of up to £10,000 in the small claims court. Larger or defended claims are quoted separately.
Nothing to start. The debtor check, recovery plan, chasers and letter before action are free. If we go to court, each step has a fixed fee set at the costs the court orders the debtor to repay: £50 to £100 to issue a claim, £22 or £30 for judgment, and £15 to £110 for an enforcement application, plus VAT and the court fee. We take no commission and no success fee.
Partly, and that is what our prices are built around. The court adds to the judgment the fixed costs the rules allow for issuing the claim (£50 to £100) and entering judgment (£22 to £70), plus the court fees you paid. On enforcement it adds fixed costs for each step (£2.25 to £110) and, usually, the court fee. What the small claims track does not give you is your solicitor's costs for a defended hearing, unless the other side behaves unreasonably. We price every step at the fixed sum the court allows, so when the debtor pays in full, our fees come back to you with the debt; only the VAT and the hearing work do not.
Our letters cost you nothing. If we go to court and recover nothing, you lose the court fees and our fees for the steps taken. That is why the free debtor check comes first: if a debtor looks unable to pay, we tell you not to spend the money.
They are set by HMCTS and paid to the court as each step happens: £35 to £455 to issue a claim, depending on its value; £96 for a County Court warrant; £82 for a High Court writ; £139 for an earnings, bank or property order; and £69 to have the debtor questioned. When enforcement succeeds the court orders the debtor to repay them.
Yes. Your account works in English, Simplified or Traditional Chinese, and you can send us a voice note in English, Mandarin or Cantonese. Court documents are filed in English, as the courts require, and we explain each one in your language.
A supervising solicitor regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority approves every court step and signs every court form. Software prepares the work and fixed rules calculate the amounts; people make the decisions.
No. The AI reads documents and drafts paperwork. The amount owed is calculated by fixed rules, and a solicitor chooses the enforcement route.
Your solicitor reviews what happened and can choose a different route. You see each change in your account, and there is no new fee until the next step is filed.
A solicitor reviews it within one working day. The letter is free, and you approve every step after that.
